MINI Paws for Big Things: MINI Ukraine and Happy Paw Rebuild Shelters for Homeless Animals
MINI Ukraine, the official importer of MINI cars in Ukraine and part of AWT Bavaria, has become an automotive partner of the Happy Paw charity foundation for homeless animals.
This collaboration aims to improve living conditions for animals in shelters. As part of the initiative, for every MINI car sold in Ukraine, the company donates 10,000 hryvnias to support Happy Paw’s “Comfortable Living” project.
The first project undertaken by the partners was the renovation of the Mykolaiv shelter “Ray of Goodness”, home to 160 cats. The donated funds were used for:
- Renovating the premises, including the complete replacement of wall and floor coverings.
- Installing partitions and shelves to improve animal housing conditions.
- Purchasing litter boxes and scratching posts for cats.
