MINI Paws for Big Things: MINI Ukraine and Happy Paw to Rebuild Shelters for Homeless Animals

MINI Ukraine, the official importer of MINI cars in Ukraine and part of the AWT Bavaria, has become an automotive partner of the Happy Paw charity foundation for homeless animals.

This cooperation aims to improve the conditions of animals in shelters. As part of the initiative, for every sale of a MINI car in Ukraine, the company donates 10,000 hryvnias to support Happy Paw's “Comfortable Living” project.

The first project for the partners will be the renovation of premises at the Mykolaiv shelter "Ray of Goodness," where 160 cats currently live. This includes providing safe and comfortable accommodations.

Fund curator Lyudmila Yenzheevska comments:

“At a time when there is so much grief, destruction, and pain around, pets and the wards of our foundation remain islands of joy, whom we are able to help. That is why we are very inspired when, in this effort, you feel the reliable support of companies that decide to help the smallest and most defenseless. In 2023, we built and renovated premises for animals in 17 shelters throughout Ukraine. And now we are very happy to think that in cooperation with MINI Ukraine, we will be able to improve the living conditions for hundreds of other abandoned cats and dogs, so they have the opportunity to wait for their new families in comfort.”
