On April 25, 2026, MINI Ukraine, the official importer of MINI vehicles in Ukraine and part of AWT Bavaria, hosted the charity event Meow & Paw Picnic by MINI 2.0 at the Kyiv Velodrome.

Organized in partnership with the Happy Paw charitable foundation, the event brought together more than 500 guests and their pets around a shared goal — supporting homeless animals and promoting a culture of responsible pet care.

Thanks to donations from guests and MINI Ukraine’s initiative to match every contribution, the event raised UAH 500,000 in support of animal shelters.

The funds were allocated to the construction of an insulated cat house for the “Vdyachna Lapa” shelter in the Kirovohrad region, as well as 20 dog houses for the “V Dobri Ruky” shelter in the Kyiv region.

Following the project, the AWT Bavaria team and colleagues visited the “V Dobri Ruky” shelter, where they personally helped install the new dog houses. For the team, it became an opportunity not only to support the initiative financially, but also to spend time with the animals and contribute to the shelter in person.

The event combined its charitable mission with activities for both guests and their pets, including MINI test drives, a pet adoption zone hosted by Happy Paw, themed activities for cats and dogs, a pet market, a food court, and DJ performances.

Meow & Paw Picnic by MINI 2.0 became a day filled with warmth, care, and genuine emotions, as well as another example of how shared initiatives can create meaningful change.
