AWT Bavaria supported a new training program of the “Mama Shyie” Academy by contributing UAH 245,000 to support women and further develop the initiative.

As part of the program, participants learn the fundamentals of sewing, work with professional sewing equipment, and create their first handmade products.

During the first month of training, participants mastered hand stitching techniques, learned how to use sewing machines, and created their own tote bags and aprons.

For many women, the project became not only an opportunity to gain new skills, but also an important step toward greater confidence and new professional opportunities.

Supporting educational and social initiatives focused on women’s development and empowerment remains an important part of AWT Bavaria’s social responsibility efforts.
