AWT Bavaria joined a project by the Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation to provide a 4x4 ambulance vehicle for the medical teams of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS).

The company allocated €30,000 to support the initiative aimed at strengthening the capabilities of rescue teams working daily in extremely challenging conditions, including destroyed infrastructure, off-road areas, and high-risk environments.

The all-wheel-drive ambulance will help DSNS medics reach injured people in hard-to-access locations, support rescue operations, and carry out emergency evacuations in critical situations.

The vehicle transfer became possible as part of a new stage of cooperation between the Ukrainian FireFighters Foundation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the EBRD Community Initiative program, which supports humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
