AWT Bavaria, the official representative of the BMW Group and the official importer of Aston Martin, ALPINA, and INEOS cars in Ukraine, announces its participation in a charity initiative to rebuild a school in the village of Marianivka. The company allocates 100 thousand euros for this important cause, joining Sir Richard Branson's initiative within the UNITED24 fundraising platform.

The reconstruction of the schools bomb shelter will be the main priority. It is extremely important for the community as it is the only shelter in the village of Marianivka. Groundwater and heavy spring precipitation currently flood the semi-basement, making it impossible for children to seek shelter during air raids.

"I was absolutely shocked to hear yesterday at a meeting at the Ministry of Education of Ukraine that a school is required to have a functioning bomb shelter in order to be open. And now I realize that we are doing more than just building shelter here. We are actually creating an opportunity for a face-to-face and full-time education. And I think everyone recognizes how important it is to provide full-time education after COVID-19. So, this is an undeniably crucial project."
